Augmented Reality Business Card

An interactive AR business card that blends print and digital through a QR-based WebAR experience.

The Augmented Reality Business Card project explored how traditional networking tools can evolve through immersive technology. Instead of functioning as a static piece of information, the card was designed to launch an interactive AR experience when scanned with a smartphone. By combining QR code access with browser-based WebAR, the project turned a simple printed card into a dynamic digital introduction.

When scanned, the card opens a WebAR interface directly in the mobile browser. Within this space, 3D elements, animations, and contact information appear in the user’s environment, creating an engaging way to present identity and creative work. The experience was built to remain lightweight and accessible, allowing users to explore the content instantly without downloading an application.

By combining Three.js, Blender, and web-based technologies, the project demonstrated how augmented reality can enhance branding and communication. It showed how physical and digital media can work together to create memorable interactions that extend beyond the limitations of traditional print.

Networking meets the future.

Made with:

WebAR, QR Code integration, 3D modeling, HTML/CSS/JS
