Cultural Heritage VR Experience (City-Scale Storytelling)

The Problem:

A city wanted a way to preserve cultural stories, historical architecture, and local identity in a format that younger generations would actually engage with. Museums and brochures couldn’t deliver immersion or emotion — the city needed something deeper and more interactive.

The Solution:

I created an immersive VR experience that recreated historical landmarks, streets, and stories in 3D. Using references from history, photography, and architecture.

I built a virtual environment where users could:

– Explore the city’s past through interactive scenes
– Walk around historical structures
– Experience moments that no longer exist in the real world
– Connect emotionally with local heritage
– Blend education, storytelling, and virtual presence

Conclusion:

The project combined 3D modeling, photogrammetry, XR frameworks, and VR design to form a digital time capsule — preserving memories and culture in a way that feels alive rather than archived.

The result preserves the sculpture exactly as it is today. It can now be accessed anywhere, protected from physical decay, and integrated into immersive experiences for education and exhibition.
